The story of Chaman
From white cloth to a garden.
چمن کا مطلب ہے، باغ۔
Chaman means garden — and every garden starts as bare ground. Every suit we make starts the same way: as a plain white cloth. This is how it becomes something worth wearing.
Filmed on our factory floor. No actors, no stock footage — just the cloth, the machines and the people who run them.

01
The cloth
کپڑاIt arrives raw — plain, unbleached cloth, bale after bale of it. Quiet, and waiting.

02
The wash
دھلائیIt is washed, whitened and drawn straight over the rollers, until it runs off the machines like a white river.

03
The screen
اسکرینEach design is engraved onto metal screens — one for every colour — pierced with the tiny openings the colour will pass through.

04
The print
چَھپائیThen the cloth meets the screens. Colour by colour the pattern comes through — leaves, vines, borders, buti. This is where the garden blooms.

05
The fold
تہہFinally every three-piece — shirt, dupatta, trouser — is checked and folded by hand, ready to be sent to you.
